Hawaii Flickr Meetup Tomorrow

My family and I are reluctantly back from the Big Island, where we welcomed 2008 from a rustic vacation rental in Volcano Village. Relaxed and rejuvenated, what better way to jump into the New Year than with a fun, friendly gathering of local shutterbugs?

Tomorrow brings an official Hawaii Flickr Meetup — “official” only insofar as it’s been listed on the Flickr Blog (since Flickrites, of course, get together all the time). We’ll be gathering at Kakaako Waterfront Park before noon, and talking story and taking pictures until whenever.

Whether you’re a professional photographer, a sporadic hobbyist, or just curious about photography or Flickr, you’re welcome to join us! Just RSVP in the meetup thread and/or in the Upcoming listing at Flickr’s sister site. Bring your camera, your family, your stories and your appetite!
