Hawaii Blog on the Amazon Kindle
If you’re among the lucky geeks to have an Amazon Kindle, you can now subscribe to Hawaii Blog as you would any other electronic periodical. Amazon, using a secret formula that seems to perplex many a blogger, has set the price of a Hawaii Blog subscription to $1.99 a month.
Of course, you could always browse your way to this or any other blog on the Kindle for free, but the Kindle Publishing for Blogs feature provides for automated downloads, improved formatting, and more accessible archives. You get a better user experience, I get a few cents, and Amazon pockets the lion’s share of the subscription price for connecting us.
I don’t expect anyone to subscribe, but I’m very curious about how it looks and works. If you have a Kindle, note that you can get a free 14-day trial subscription to this or any other blog if you want to try it out. Let me know if you do!
Hawaii Blog not your style? Vernon Brown’s 808Talk is also available on the Kindle.
